Here are all the upcoming GPSC Events for April 2024!
4th April – Peer Support Group: The Graduate Professional Student Congress DEI committee is organizing a peer support group. The “Sip and Vent” event will be held today from 1:00-2:00pm at Graduate Student Lounge, Gearhart Hall 206. This will provide attendees with an opportunity to enjoy coffee and baked goods from a local coffee roastery while engaging in open discussions about various issues they may be facing.
4th April- Sports, games, and a keen insight into wellness through fitness. The event will take place today at the UREC Sports Complex located at 1486 Mitchell Street from 12-2pm.
5th April – GPSC 2024 Awards Nomination Closes : This initiative aims to recognize outstanding achievements across various disciplines and highlight the remarkable contributions of graduate students to academia, research, and society. The awards will be presented during the Grad Bash on 3rd May 2024 (Reading Day). The nomination submission period ends tomorrow 5th April 2024. 17th April – GPSC April Policy Dialogue & Assembly Meeting: The GPSC April Policy dialogue is themed “An hour interaction with Chancellor Robinson” starting at 5:00-6:00 pm. This will be moderated by Krystle Merry, GPSC Secretary. If you have any questions or comments for the Chancellor, kindly submit here. The venue of this event and Zoom link will be communicated in due course. GPSC Assembly meeting starts at 6:00pm.
18th April – 3rd Thursday Social: Join us from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Farrells Lounge (311 W Dickson St, Fayetteville, AR 72701) for a delightful evening of mingling and relaxation.
3rd May- Grad Bash & Awards Day: Join us for an unforgettable celebration at the Unity House as we mark the remarkable achievements of the semester. This special event promises an afternoon of camaraderie, reflection, and joy, as we come together to commemorate the culmination of weeks of hard work and dedication. Get ready to create lasting memories and celebrate the next chapter in your journey. Let’s toast to success, growth, and new beginnings at Graduate Bash!
