• March 4th – GPSC 2024/25 Elections: Applications are now open for Executive, At-large, and Chief Justice positions within the Graduate Professional Student Congress. This is an opportunity to actively shape the discussions and decisions that impact graduate and professional life at our university.   • March 7th – Peer Support Group: “Sip and Vent” Event: Join the Graduate Professional Student Congress DEI committee for a supportive and engaging peer support group session. From 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Graduate Student Lounge, Gearhart Hall 206, enjoy coffee and treats from a local roastery while participating in open discussions about various issues you may be facing.   • March 7th – Health Insurance Training: Organized by the GPSC Health Committee, health insurance training at the Pat Walker Health Center (Rooms 1116-1118) at 5:00 pm provides valuable insights into health insurance on campus. Take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your understanding of available resources. Details are available in the attached flyer.
  • March 14th & 15th – Groceries Distribution: For those who have applied, groceries distribution will take place at the St. James Food Pantry from 12 noon to 5 pm on Thursday, March 14th, and from 8 am to 12 noon on Friday, March 15th. Further information will be sent out in the days ahead. You can register to volunteer here.

  • March 21st – 3rd Thursday Social: Join us from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Farrells Lounge (311 W Dickson St, Fayetteville, AR 72701) for a delightful evening of mingling and relaxation. To help with check-in at the event, pre-registration is encouraged
  • March 22nd – Grads Night Out: Game On! 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. At Arkadia Retrocade. Step back into a classic arcade with over 150 games to play and play again. Catered dinner from Tacos 4 Life, including vegetarian and gluten-free options. Registration is required and limited to 50. Children are welcome to attend but may need to pay for separate entry free ($5).
  • March 28th – GPSC January Policy Dialogue & Assembly Meeting: Join us for an insightful policy dialogue focused on “Exploring Non-Academic Career Paths: Entrepreneurship and Beyond for Graduate Students.” Led by Laura Moix and the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Arkansas. The event starts at 5:00 pm in the EJ Ball courtroom in the Law School and via Zoom. Registration is required. The GPSC Assembly meeting will follow immediately afterward at the same venue.
